HPA Alerts Webview

The HPA Webview allows two main functionalities:

  • alerts configuration Management tab
  • metrics tree browsing Investigator tab

MANAGEMENT

Used to define each alert and group them via management modules.

Alerts are based on metrics and can be associated to actions.

Alerts can be deactivated sometimes.

In the HPA portal, the alerts management menu allows to manipulate alerts, actions and management modules:

  • duplicate alerts
  • import/export management modules
  • identify the usage of alert actions
  • …

INVESTIGATOR

Used to display all the metrics according to their technical classification.

  • One specific node Custom Metric Host (Virtual) used to collect internal HPA metrics
  • Else one node per host where at least one HPA agent ran during the time period
    • Depending the nature of agent profile used, metrics trees can be different
